Overview

Intrinsyx plays an integral role in life sciences missions, supporting everything from biological experiment integration to science requirements and in-flight operations. We help bridge the gap between research objectives and successful execution, enabling missions that explore how life responds to spaceflight.

Space Station Biological Research Project

Intrinsyx supported NASA’s Space Station Biological Research Project (SSBRP) by developing the Incubator Display payload software and ground operations tools for life sciences experiments aboard the ISS. Their contributions enabled real-time control, data handling, and mission support, while helping establish software process standards adopted across the program.

Space Shuttle Payload Development

Intrinsyx supported animal and plant biology experiments on Space Shuttle missions through systems engineering, software integration, and payload delivery management—ensuring robust performance in microgravity environments.

Rodent Research

Intrinsyx has provided end-to-end mission integration and operations support for 13 Rodent Research missions, leading science requirements development, Concept of Operations (ConOps), and real-time console execution. Serving as subject matter experts for all flight hardware systems, Intrinsyx has supported launch, on-orbit operations, and post-landing recovery on the ground, ensuring continuity and mission success from pre-flight through payload return.
