Projects
Overview
From designing robust flight hardware and mission-critical software to leading operations for long-duration spaceflight, Intrinsyx’s work drives innovation at the intersection of engineering, science, and exploration. Explore our key projects below to learn how we contribute to various aerospace endeavors.

Spaceflight Hardware
Intrinsyx engineers and delivers flight-certified hardware for NASA and commercial missions, supporting end-to-end processes from vendor fabrication to integration, testing, and flight readiness. We operate under strict NASA configuration management standards, ensuring traceability, quality assurance, and compliance with ISS and mission-specific requirements. Our team manages procurement, inspection, limited assembly, and pre-ship reviews across hardware built for microgravity and deep space environments.

Spaceflight Software
Intrinsyx develops and maintains mission-critical software systems for spaceflight operations, including embedded flight software, telemetry processing, command and data handling, and ground control tools. We provide full life-cycle support – from requirements and architecture through coding, integration, and thorough regression testing – to ensure robust, real-time decision-making in high-reliability environments.

Astronomy and Space Sciences
Intrinsyx supports key space science missions by translating complex science objectives into actionable operations. From mission design and concept of operations to documentation and real-time execution, we help ensure spacecraft and payloads deliver critical data to advance our understanding of the universe.

Life Sciences
Intrinsyx plays an integral role in life sciences missions, supporting everything from biological experiment integration to science requirements and in-flight operations. We help bridge the gap between research objectives and successful execution, enabling missions that explore how life responds to spaceflight.

IT Systems and Security
Intrinsyx provides full-lifecycle IT systems and cybersecurity support for NASA projects, including the ISS, Constellation Data Systems, and the Security Operations Center. Our work spans software development, system architecture, risk assessment, and secure infrastructure integration.

Aeronautics and UAV
Intrinsyx supports NASA and FAA-led efforts in aviation safety and next-generation air traffic systems through end-to-end systems engineering, IT support, and data integration. Our work includes configuration management, architecture development, and verification & validation, enabling secure collaboration and analysis of airline safety data.

Quality Assurance
Intrinsyx delivers integrated quality assurance across the full hardware lifecycle, supporting NASA and ISS programs with rigorous standards based on ARC, SSP, and NASA QA documentation. Our team manages everything from drawing reviews and build tracking to non-conformance reporting, functional test verification, and flight hardware pre-ship reviews -ensuring each part meets mission-critical reliability and traceability requirements.

Intrinsyx Operations Center
The Intrinsyx Operations Center (IOC) is a secure, FIPS 140-2 compliant spaceflight operations center that provides console support for on-orbit missions across NASA flight centers and commercial partners. Capable of supporting ISS operations and beyond–LEO destinations, the IOC enables real-time mission execution, telemetry monitoring, and collaborative operations in a certified environment.

Supercomputing
Intrinsyx supports NASA’s high-performance computing efforts at the NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Division, home to some of the world’s most powerful supercomputers. Our team contributes to system integration, software support, and secure operations that enable large-scale modeling, data analysis, and simulation for aeronautics, Earth science, and space exploration missions.
