Spaceflight Software
Overview
Intrinsyx develops and maintains mission-critical software systems for spaceflight operations, including embedded flight software, telemetry processing, command and data handling, and ground control tools. We provide full life-cycle support – from requirements and architecture through coding, integration, and thorough regression testing – to ensure robust, real-time decision-making in high-reliability environments.

Rodent Research
Intrinsyx has delivered comprehensive software support for NASA’s Rodent Research missions, ensuring successful operations across both flight and ground segments. Our contributions span data handling, system monitoring, application verification, and mission-critical networking.
Flight Software Support
Video processing, telemetry capture, and archival for onboard habitats
Health monitoring of flight hardware and embedded software
Alert configuration and telemetry for science and environmental systems
Maintenance of servers and Operations center infrastructure supporting mission execution
Ground Control Systems
Ground workstation and software maintenance across multiple missions
End-to-end ground systems checkout, including simulation
Setup and testing of current monitoring systems
Ground telemetry and health data processing, including data analysis tools
Digital Camera Software Upgrade

Fruit Fly Lab
Intrinsyx contributed to NASA’s Fruit Fly Lab program by developing core software systems that enable real-time science operations, data handling, and environmental monitoring for life science research aboard the ISS.
Integrated Telemetry & Commanding
Developed and supported the payload command and data interface, enabling seamless commanding and telemetry for experiment control
Ensured robust communication between the flight payload and Express Rack systems
Environmental Data Acquisition
Enabled software integration of temperature, humidity, CO₂, and O₂ sensors into the onboard monitoring system
Enabled continuous logging and downlink of environmental parameters critical to biological payload health and mission science

BioCulture System
The BioCulture System (BIOS) is a ten-cassette fluidic platform engineered for advanced cell science experiments aboard the ISS. Intrinsyx contributed to software and systems integration across two successful flights, and the modified BIOS was later presented as a case study for a lunar bio-experiment concept.
Integrated Biosensor & Experiment Control
Supported end-to-end telemetry and control interface for cassette operations
Developed command, data handling, and verification systems for flight and ground use
Enabled environmental monitoring and experiment automation via firmware and interface software
PI Start Kit Simulation Platform
Delivered a ground-based BIOS replica with Bluetooth-enabled control and three-cassette simulation interface
Supported cell science research and flight experiment preparation using integrated hardware, firmware, and graphical user interface
